Giza was founded by Mr. Zeev Holtzman and has been at the forefront of Israel's venture capital industry for more than 20 years, supporting innovative entrepreneurs and helping them build great businesses. Since 1992, Giza has formed five venture capital funds and invested approximately $600 million into more than 100 start-ups and has achieved over 40 successful exits.

Giza's principal focus is on the realization of Giza V's remaining portfolio companies. Giza V is already a top quartile performance fund with a net IRR of 27%.

Giza is a lead investor and plays an active role in supporting companies from early-stage rounds until exit. Giza's added value is reflected by active board participation, assistance in strategy, recruiting senior management, capital raising and syndication with co-investors, introduction to potential customers, assistance in establishing joint ventures with strategic partners as well as in exit formulation and implementation. 

Giza was one of the first international VCs to identify Asia as a major target market and has extensive experience in working with Asian partners and companies, and has a successful investment track record in Asia.
