The Xeround database is extremely scalable, highly available, and can support tens of millions of users, while reducing the overall cost of ownership.     XTEND provides novel, efficient technologies for the transmission of extremely high-throughput data and multimedia over standard cable television channels. Vyyo acquired Xtend for $20 million in May 2004.
